Mascara Update

I know everyone's dying to hear: I finally found Lash Exact. Target finally got a clue and fully stocked it. Maybe there was a national shortage. Anyway, the brush is totally rad. You have to try it to believe it. Unfortunately, it doesn't wash off as cleanly as Max Factor, and tonight I found a few weird black flecks on that part of the eye where people put eyeliner where you're not supposed to because you can get an infection. Anyway. So it gets a B+. Am still trying to work up the courage to go into a K-Mart to buy the new Max Factor mascara, but it might take a while.

Best Happy Hour Deal in Town...

I am humbled, because I totally told my friend I wrote about this a few weeks ago, and I am shamed to see that I am a liar. Anyway, I discovered on St. Paddy's day that Crapplebee's actually has an excellent happy hour (i can't take credit for naming it Crapplebee's, but it is so fitting...). In a quest to avoid drunked holiday crowds, we went to a suburban Crapplebees, where we enjoyed $1 beers after 9pm and1/2 price appetizers. That's right. It's not a typo. $1 Killian's Reds. My friends, you could get wasted on a fiver. I definitely do not condone chain restaurants, but sometimes a poor girl needs to sacrifice her morals in order to get a cheap buzz.
